Read Me A Story began in May 2004 as a storefront location in the heart of Anacortes, Washington. The store idea was born due to the lack of children's products in Anacortes. Since there was this huge niche to fill, Read Me A Story opened with books, toys, and clothes for kids, newborn to young adult.

We even have things for grown-ups too! Our goal is for our customers to have fun and find that perfect gift for the special kids in their lives. Over the last four years our product lines have grown tremendously, along with our client base.

As our store location continues to grow we are launching our online store to make it convenient for customers to shop at home - those in Anacortes, Washington and our friends from afar.

Our goal is to sell only toys, books and clothes that aren't found just anywhere. We aim to have a huge selection of items at reasonable prices.
